Venue

The congress will be held in La Laguna, Tenerife, in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics and in the Lecture Hall of the Instituto Universitario de Bioorgánica “Antonio González” of the University of La Laguna (www.ull.es). Both buildings are adjoining and communicate easily. The public will be distributed among them according to the sessions and/or the maximum number of people allowed according to the covid restrictions of the moment. Both venues are well connected by streaming

The Faculty of Physics will also hold the Meetings with Companies, and the exhibition stands of companies and research projects on Sustainable and Precision Agriculture.

La Laguna is a Historic heritage Town, with beautiful surroundings where you can practise hiking in ancient forests and enjoy fantastic views from the mountains and the sea. The Island has a very good bus service, and you can go anywhere in the Titsa buses. The Island is crowned by the Teide volcano (National Park and World Heritage site), the highest mountain in Spain. You can have breathtaking views from the top, and walk around the well-cared paths in the National Park. If you prefer hiking in forests, in the north of the Island and the south you have great opportunities to do so. And if you prefer beaches, Las Teresitas beach is close to the venue, and the
south of the Island has also many places where you can enjoy the sun, good weather and water sports. The Island is rich in marine life, and boat trips to see whales, dolphins, turtles, and many other animals can be hired. We hope you enjoy your stay in Tenerife and not only for the Symposium!
